This elegant log cabin is beautifully crafted from high-quality Nordic Spruce, a timber with a lovely colour and enviable durability, ensuring it not only looks fantastic but is built to last.

The Gleneagles 3.8 x 3.8m Log Cabin is built to a very high standard. It features robust 44mm thick walls that provide superior strength and natural insulation. The solid 19mm roof and floor boards are designed with a secure tongue and groove system for enhanced stability. The cabin is supplied in a natural (untreated) finish, providing a blank canvas for you to customise with your preferred paint or stain. A key USP is the inclusion of silicone-sealed tilt-and-turn windows and a durable laminated door frame, which are equipped with 3-9-3mm safety glass double glazing for excellent thermal efficiency and security. Other features include impregnated foundation beams for durability, a cylinder door key lock, and a low stainless steel door sill. The cabin is also backed by a 5-year guarantee, reflecting our commitment to quality.

Delivery

All our log cabin buildings are delivered on our own vehicles, the larger of these will be delivered on our 26 tonne (42 foot) crane lorry. Being such a large vehicle we will need to know if there are any obstructions, overhead cables or tight corners in the road. Please let us know if any of these may be an issue so we can make other arrangements. Our cabin packs as pictured are usually 1.2m wide by the length of the longest part of your purchased cabin e.g. 5 metres, they are delivered front of house so a space of this size will be required.

Delivery

Fitting

To ensure your cabin is fitted to the highest standard choose our fitting service, we will take care of transporting the building to the desired location, install a damp proof course, constructing the building, sealing the building, adjust doors and windows and leaving your site free of all rubbish and packaging. After this we will run through with you how to adjust windows and doors in the future, recommendations on painting and aftercare and can offer advice on other landscaping and fencing needs.

Fitting

Log Cabin Base

Having a level base is the perfect foundation for your timber building, it means that all the panels or logs fit together without a hitch and will settle in unison. The most common bases are Concrete Bases or a timber framed base. Both options provide a fantastic sturdy base for your log cabin.

Painting & Aftercare

All our log cabins are built out of kiln-dried, untreated whitewood for you to decorate in accordance with your taste and style. Please ensure you treat your cabin inside and out as soon as it is fitted. To ensure the longevity of your building it is imperative that you treat any bare timber.

Painting & Aftercare

Roof Coverings & Insulation

On our Apex log cabins we use hexagonal felt shingles. On our pent roof log cabins we offer EPDM rubber roofing if required as well as the standard roof shingles

To ensure your cabin is cosy in the winter and cool in the summer you have the option to insulate the roof and floor.
