Your Right to Cancel

If you purchase goods online or by telephone, you may have the right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.

To exercise your right to cancel, you must notify us in writing by email or post within 14 days of delivery.

You must take reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession and make them available for collection in substantially the same condition as delivered.

Products Excluded from Cancellation Rights

The right to cancel does not apply to:

  • Products manufactured to your specifications
  • Bespoke or made-to-order log cabins
  • Customised buildings or structures
  • Products that have been assembled, installed, or altered after delivery
  • Goods purchased directly from one of our physical sales sites

Where a product is made specifically for you, cancellation may not be possible once production has commenced.

Return Costs

Where a cancellation is accepted for a non-faulty product, we reserve the right to deduct:

  • Collection costs
  • Delivery charges already incurred
  • Any costs associated with returning the goods to the manufacturer
  • Any reasonable administration costs resulting from the cancellation

Any deductions will be clearly explained before a refund is processed.

Damaged, Faulty or Missing Items

Please inspect your order upon delivery.

If any parts are damaged, defective, or missing, you must notify us:

  • On the day of delivery where possible; or
  • Within 7 days of delivery in writing.

Upon verification, we will, at our discretion:

  • Replace damaged or missing components;
  • Repair damaged components; or
  • Provide an appropriate remedy in accordance with your statutory rights.

Natural Characteristics of Timber

Timber is a natural material and will naturally react to environmental conditions.

Characteristics that are not considered faults include:

  • Knots and knot holes
  • Variations in colour and grain
  • Resin pockets
  • Surface checking and drying cracks
  • Shrinkage and expansion
  • Twisting, warping, or movement within normal tolerances
  • Natural splitting caused by weather conditions

These characteristics are part of the normal behaviour of timber products and do not constitute manufacturing defects.

Refund Process

Refunds will be processed once returned goods have been received and inspected.

Approved refunds will be issued using the original payment method wherever possible.

Approved refunds will usually be processed within 14 days of the returned goods being received and inspected.

Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy excludes or limits your legal rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 or any other applicable consumer protection legislation.
